<br><br>Georg Philipp Telemann (1681–1767) was one of the most prolific composers of the 18th century. Although the largest part of his compositional activities were devoted to vocal music, he wrote a number of concertos. This release contains several concertos for instruments such as the trumpet, oboe, flute and violin. Performed by the Wiener Akademie, lead by Martin Haselböck, and the English Chamber Orchestra under thge baton of Thomas Indermühle.
