Daub a bit of glitter on your cheekbones and become a star; Marc Bolan of British Glam Rock band T. Rex did just that. But it wasn't just his flamboyant personality, eerily good looks and enigmatic stage presence that made him one of the most popular artists of his time: he was a prolific songwriter & poet, and an inventive singer and guitarist to boot. In 1972 EMI signed this remarkable artist and created his own label for him: T. Rex Wax Co., on which he would release six albums in as many years, until Bolan's fatal car crash in 1977. This compilation is a collection of all the singles he cut for the label, and Music On Vinyl is the first to release it on vinyl.
