Reinbert de Leeuw is a well-known performer of the work of Erik Satie. Satie was introduced as a 'gymnopedist' in 1887, shortly before writing his most famous compositions, the 'Gymnopédies'. It's one of the compositions which can be found on the second volume of his Early Piano Works.
