This recording comes from a series of reissues by the legendary Impulse label. The Analogue Productions label, under the aegis of mastering pro Kevin Gray, has the analog master tapes reworked at AcoustTech in California and releases them as a hybrid SACD. The sonic capabilities of these reworkings clearly outshine even the original LPs from the 60s on the CD track and are clearly superior to previous digitalizations.
