American trumpeter and composer Dave Douglas has recorded more than twenty albums as bandleader and performed on dozens more alongside musicians such as John Zorn, Horace Silver, Bill Frisell, Sheryl Crow, Susan Vega and Sean Lennon. His compositions derive from many musical styles including classical, folk and Klezmer. This collection from Black Saint/Soul Note includes his complete recordings for the label. Included are Parallel Worlds (1993), Five (1996), Convergence (1999), John Coltrane's Ascension (1995), Bounce (1997) and Force Green (1994).
