ince 1970, the name 'Three Blind Mice' has stood for excellent jazz releases. Founder and owner, Takeshi 'Tee' Fujii, put together a compilation of his favorite titles in 1998, which was previously only available on CD, but has cult status among label fans: 'The Famous Sound of Three Blind Mice, Vol. 1'. A loving selection of titles from the years 1973 to 1978 is gathered here, including the TBM classics 'Blow Up' and 'Misty' as well as 'The Lady Is a Tramp', 'Scandinavian Suite' and 'Midnight Sunrise'. Impex Records proudly presents the pressing on vinyl, which provides a fabulous playing surface for the sonic details of the recordings.
