The <i>Epigrams </i>and <i>New</i> <i>Epigrams </i>present a fertile whirlwind of sensations, references and surprises. <i>In modo di</i> <i>Passacaglia </i>unfolds as a cycle of forty variations on a twelve-note melodic theme, which fluctuate between agitated virtuosity and tranquility.
